Moving on from Busy Bees
When children are in our Busy Bee room we are already preparing them for their next big adventure - primary school.
Our Busy Bees go on to a variety of school with the majority going to Bourne Westfield Primary Academy, Bourne Abbey Church of England Primary Academy. and Elsea Park Church of England Primary Academy We also have children who go on to
Please remember the Pre-school or Nursery your child attends has no bearing on their place at Primary School as the criteria for school places is set by the schools and Lincolnshire County Council and is ultimately based on siblings already in the school and your home location in relation to the school once looked after children are taken into consideration. Applying for Primary SchoolSchool places must be applied for via Lincolnshire County Council between November and January each year. Most applications are now made online and you can access the school admission website by clicking on the button below

"Once a Busy Bee, always a Busy Bee"When it is time for your Busy Bee to leave us for school we do our best to help with the transition. We have a group visit to Bourne Abbey and Bourne Westfield with those who will be going to those schools and for many of the children this will be their first experience of their new school so it helps for them to have the familiar face of Busy Bees staff with them and a familiar hand to hold.
We mark leaving Busy Bees with a special 'graduation' ceremony with souvenir photographs for you to keep and you will be invited to watch the children perform their Busy Bee concert in the last few weeks of term. We aim to do this at a weekend so as many parents as possible can attend. You also receive your child's learning journey which is a lovely keepsake of their time with us. |
"Bees together, friends forever"
