The children can decide what toys, books or games they wish to play with, and as they make these choices, learn and grow through their experiences according to their own agenda.  Interactions with other children and adults promote social and communication skills, we encourage children to listen to stories, mark-make and act out different roles during their play in the home corner and develop their questioning skills so they can understand and learn about the world around them.  High staff ratios means quality teaching and learning can be done in small groups, using games and activities and they will, all the time, be having fun! 

When it is time for a nap we have a cosy bedroom that has cots just like at home and each child has their own dedicated bedding. 

Bumbles

Hi  I am a toddler and I am really confident on my feet and love to run around. I am very inquisitive and am learning about my world by exploring and investigating with my toddler friends.

As your toddler gets older they will be developing their preferences for what they like and don’t like. In the Bumbles room there are more opportunities for them to develop their independence and we present the children with rich, stimulating and meaningful learning experiences which allow them to grow and learn new skills, all children learn at their own pace.
